Each condition lists five systems, with appropriate ashi points for each:

System 1: Name sharing

Meridians sharing the same Chinese name balance each other.

System 2: Bie-Jing/Branching Meridians

Opposite meridians are paired according to their Chinese meridian names.

System 3: Biao Li/Interior-Exterior Pairs

Interior/Exterior pairs according to their Zang-fu relationship.

System 4: Chinese Clock Opposites

Opposite meridians on the clock balance each other.

System 5: Chinese Clock Neighbors

Adjacent meridians on the clock are paired. The time of the acupuncture is not considered.
